Title: Book Drawing: C++ All-in-One For Dummies, 4th Edition

John Mueller has kindly donated five copies of his book C++ All-in-One For Dummies, 4th Edition for me to give away. The only catch is that you should post a review on Amazon when you've had a chance to look the book over.

This is a massive 912 page volume, so I wouldn't expect anyone to read it cover-to-cover immediately. This is, however, a good chance for you to see what C++ is like. You'll learn that it's a lot like C#, but with a few differences, particularly when it comes to pointers.

The book uses Code::Blocks (www.codeblocks.org) as its programming environment and includes instructions for downloading and installing it. (It's can't be too hard because I managed it! 😉)

To sign up to win a free book, simply email me at RodStephens@CSharpHelper.com. Include "C++ book drawing" in the subject line and your name and address in the body.

From previous experience with book giveaways, I can say that your odds of winning are fairly good. Normally I only get a dozen or so requests for these books, and this time it's not a C# book so interest may be even lower. The gist of it is, if you're interested in learning a bit about C++ programming, this is your big chance to win a free book to get you started! Megabucks would be better, but this is more likely.

The entry deadline is next Wednesday February 10, 2021. I'll announce the winners (without email addresses) shortly after that.

Good luck!

Disclaimer: Note that I tech edited this edition, despite what it says at the back of the book.
